2008 Calendar of Events:
Fall Festival on Main Street in Center Moriches. Sat., October 25, 2008; Rain date Sun., October 26th. The fair will feature vendors and Main Street merchants selling goods and foods, raffles, artists, petting zoo and activities for children. Fair starts at 9:00 am and runs till 6:00pm.

We have been informed by NYS Dept. Of Taxation & Finance that all vendors must have a valid NYS Certificate of Authority in order to sell your goods. To Obtain a Certificate of Authority please call 1-800-972-1233. Directions to the fair in Center Moriches are as follows: LIE (exit 69) or Sunrise (exit 59), South on Wading River Rd., onto Railroad Ave. South across Frowein Rd. through traffic light to second traffic light, West on Main Street 2 1/2 blocks. Vendors can check in at the Allstate office on the North side at 6:30am to be set up by 9am. 19th Annual Spooky Walk. (4 nights) October 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th at Camp Pa Qua Tuck, Chet Swezey Road, Center Moriches. Proceeds go to benefit Camp Pa Qua Tuck for handicapped children. Safe fun filled for the whole family. See the Dead Wedding, Frankenstein's Lab, the Jaunted Woods, the Mummy Tomb, Lost Pirates, and the Food Tent. Arrive anytime between 7pm and 9pm. $10 at the gate. $8 pre-purchase at selected North Folk Banks. Directions: Exit 69 LIE or Exit 59 Sunrise Highway to Wading River Road. Take Wading River Road South to end. Make right at 2nd light (Main Street.) Go left to camp. Free shuttle bus transportation available from King Kullen (shopping center) in Center Moriches.
March of the Goblins. October 31st from 4:30pm to 6pm. Costume Halloween event on Main Street. Free candy given out to all kids. In addition, look at the merchant shop windows in Center Moriches and East Moriches for Halloween painted windows. Prize given out to the best window. Free Event. Over 1,500 people participated last year.
