St. Patrick's Day Parade Cocktail Party. Friday, March 5th from 7pm to 11pm. Rock Hill Country Club. $60 per person. Open bar 7pm to 9pm. Irish style buffet. Music. Tickets, contact 874-3849.

St. Patrick's Day Parade. Sunday, March 14th at 2pm. Parade on Main Street in Center Moriches. Featuring Irish pipe bands, volunteer fire departments, ambulance companies, antique autos, scout troops, float competition, school bands, and a Princess essay contest. This is a Free event and a drug free and alcohol free zone. Grand Marshall this year is Edward Romaine. For more information, contact 631-241-0194 or 631-874-0003.

American Cancer Society Annual Relay For Life. 5pm on June 11th to 7am on June 12th. Track at Center Moriches High School. Overnight team event to fight cancer, honor 8.5 million Americans who have survived cancer, and raise funds to support the continued fight against the disease. Annual Spring Street Fair. (Million Dollar Weekend in Moriches.) Saturday, June12th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m on Main Street in Center Moriches. Rain date: Sunday, June 13th. For more information, contact Gerry Sapanaro at 878-0003 or morbay234@aol.com The fair will feature vendors and Main Street merchants selling goods and foods, raffles, artists, petting zoo, activities for children, and community organizations.
Summer Craft Fair and Chinese Auction. July 17th from 10am to 5pm on Main Street in Center Moriches. The auction includes gifts, floral's, restaurant gift certificates, etc. Vendors include woodworking, clothing, candles, sand art, etc. Lots of fun for the whole family. Summer Evening Concert Series. 7pm to 9pm. Free music event on the lawn of the Clayton Huey School in Center Moriches. Dates: 7/10, 7/31 & 8/14. Bands to be announced.
Fall Festival on Main Street in Center Moriches. Sat., October 23rd; Rain date Sunday, October 24th. The fair will feature vendors and Main Street merchants selling goods and foods, raffles, artists, petting zoo and activities for children. Fair starts at 9:00 am and runs till 6:00pm.
March of the Goblins. October 29th from 4:30pm to 6pm. Costume Halloween event on Main Street. Free candy given out to all kids. In addition, look at the merchant shop windows in Center Moriches and East Moriches for Halloween painted windows. Prize given out to the best window. Free Event. Over 1,500 people participated last year.
