The Chamber is looking for interested businesses of the community who would like to help the community function for a better way of business. What is the Chamber of Commerce of the Moriches? It is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who have joined together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and business interests of the community. It will serve as an action designed to meet community and area needs. Who Are Its Members? Any business, firm or individual sharing a common business interest in community improvement can be eligible for membership. Eligibility and dues requirements are listed below. …

Mission Statement The Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1926 and incorporated in 1946. Our goal is to promote Business to Business relations, and local shopping. The Chamber meets every second Tuesday of the month from September through June. Chamber Committees

St. Patrick’s Parade This committee is responsible for the planning, fund raising, advertising, and execution of the Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The parade is the Sunday before March 17th every year. The committee starts fundraising for the next year’s parade right away. They choose a Grand Marshall, hire the pipe bands, and choose a theme for the parade and the Princess essay contest. They are responsible for the journal, cocktail party, and the wonderful parade. The Downtown Beautification Organization

Help Us Keep Our Main Street Beautiful! Most people are unaware that it costs in excess of $5,000 a year to put up the beautiful summertime and holiday flower baskets along Main Street. There are no government grants for this and the Downtown Beautification Organization must raise this money each year in order to replace these baskets.
